My Career Highlights
I became a Texan when I was two years old, when my family moved to Houston, where I have fond memories of my childhood. I moved to Austin in 1992 to attend the University of Texas. I enjoyed living in Austin so much that after graduating from UT I decided to make it my home. Since then I left for one year to live abroad in Belgium, and another year to live in Guatemala, where I learned to speak Spanish fluently. But no matter where I go I will always consider Central Texas home. I have witnessed tremendous growth in the area, and I am excited about what the future holds! Over the past 25 years I have lived in several different parts of the city, but I currently reside in beautiful northwest Austin with my wonderful husband, Edgar.
Since obtaining my Real Estate License in 2005, and later my Broker’s License in 2008, I have found my true passion in real estate! I genuinely enjoy helping people with all of their real estate needs, whether they are looking to sell their current home and purchase another that better suits their changing needs, relocating to the Austin area, purchasing investment properties, or first time homebuyers. I also enjoy serving as a consultant, when past, current or future clients have questions or just want to know my experience or perspective on a real estate topic.
In addition to representing buyers and sellers, I have many years of experience in remodeling houses. I have found some wonderful contractors in the process, which often comes in handy for my clients. I also spent 4 years working for a new home builder as their Realtor Liaison, so I know the local new home market very well.
Real Estate education is very important to me. I am a graduate of the 2011 Texas REALTORS Leadership Academy, and have completed 1500+ education hours, including coursework to obtain my Broker’s License.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, travelling, listening to live music, salsa dancing, photography, and cooking healthy meals. I try to stay active and have completed one marathon and two triathlons. I enjoy experiencing the abundant natural beauty and fun activities that Central Texas has to offer.
